Senior Oracle Developer - Calgary

Skills: Oracle Forms & Reports, PL/SQL, Data Modeling, App Tuning,
SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Oracle utilities

Position Responsibilities:
Detailed design, coding, and testing of Forms (using Oracle
Designer/Developer), Reports (using Oracle Reports and SQL*Plus), and
PL/SQL batch processes (mostly in a 10g environment).

Technical and Business Skills:

Required
- Excellent communication skills essential.
- Moderate-extensive development using Oracle Forms.
- Coding PL/SQL batch processes.
- Data modeling, including creation of ERD's.
- Physical database design for Oracle RDBMS.
- Oracle Reports.
- Application performance tuning.
- SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Oracle utilities.

Desirable
- Use of Oracle Designer for application/database design and generation
of Forms and database objects.
- Development and use of coding standards.
- Use of CVS or similar code-control tool.
- UNIX expertise: Ability to write/modify shell scripts, use common
UNIX tools (e.g. perl), and work in the UNIX environment.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
- Experience with Oracle Financials.
- J2EE, Oracle JDeveloper and associated tools.
- C#, .NET, XML
